
The best thing about Headliners is that you can check out four different American comedy acts in one go. And different they certainly are.

Every night upstairs at the Exford Hotel is the Best of British, a show that has what it describes as a “revolving line-up” of International (British) acts, each of which have their own shows playing at the Festival.

As a comedy show Eric’s Tales of the Sea is an odd little beast indeed. As a monologue it is lovely, the truth of the stories glowing through.


Her sharp witticisms are imparted via a droll delivery that not only immediately endears her to you, it also means her jokes quite often sneak up on you.


Enormously enjoyable and clever, it delivers a satisfyingly strong structure, an original and well-developed storyline and impeccable performances including some impressive a Capella singing.
