Tina C is a brilliant comedienne; a gobsmackingly bright and shiny, truly funny creation who viciously critiques her own culture with subtlety and skill along the way.

Composed largely of moments in time wherein characters recall pivotal encounters with lovers, and the drawn out days following their loss and search for that familiar figure, the audience take on the role of unintended voyeurs, peeping into the lives of three women.


It should be said that Sam Simmons' latest offering About the Weather, while making its appearance at the Brisbane Comedy Festival, is not a stand up show. "A play!" Simmons at one point screams to the audience, "It's a play!" And what a play it is.
