In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, Mudlark Theatre Company and the Tasmanian Theatre Company have decided to postpone the Launceston and Hobart seasons of Mudlark’s Caravan Boat Treehouse by Stephanie Briarwood.

Opera Australia has regretfully cancelled the upcoming Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour, La Traviata, in line with the government ban on static public gatherings of more than 500 people to try to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

West Australian Opera is following the Australian Government’s directive that all organised, non-essential gatherings of 500 people or more should not proceed in order to mitigate the spread of coronavirus.

In line with the latest advice from the Australian Federal and Victorian Governments on the prevention of the spread of Covid-19, the producers will need to temporarily suspend performances of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at Melbourne’s Princess Theatre.

Arts Centre Melbourne has announced the cancellation of all scheduled performances and events and temporary closure of its buildings to the public, commencing midnight Sunday 15 March, 2020.

In accordance with the federal government’s escalation of the coronavirus precautionary measures, effectively banning all static public gatherings of more than 500 people in an effort to limit the spread of the virus, Opera Australia is cancelling the remainder of its Sydney summer season.
