Enunciations is the first show by Raspberry Ripple Productions, the new theatre company for, by and about people with disabilities.

The show is fun despite the hitches. It is full of colour and it is delightful seeing so many of Dr. Seuss's characters brought to life.

For a work with an underlying sexual theme this is an oddly unsexy ride, and it’s hard to care about the relationship stakes here.

Not seen here since the early 90s, Richard Wagner’s 1845 opera Tannhäuser enjoys a great big production by Melbourne Opera, directed by Suzanne Chaundy and staged in the Regent Theatre where it's very much at home.

Bangalow posesses a hall much superior to the usual Australian village hall – high-ceilinged, pressed metal all round – which has mercifully not been renovated by acoustic experts and so preserves its splendid natural acoustics. This hall is the locus of the annual Bangalow Music Festival.

Who says, ”Never act with children (or animals)”? These kids are a definite asset to this show and to this company.
