Curtains is a comedy musical whodunit, set backstage on a show that's having a pre-Broadway tryout (in Boston) and experiencing some major problems.

The play tells the story, if such an expression can be adequately applied, of a woman who experienced extreme trauma during the Balkan war.

Enunciations is the first show by Raspberry Ripple Productions, the new theatre company for, by and about people with disabilities.

The show is fun despite the hitches. It is full of colour and it is delightful seeing so many of Dr. Seuss's characters brought to life.

For a work with an underlying sexual theme this is an oddly unsexy ride, and it’s hard to care about the relationship stakes here.

Not seen here since the early 90s, Richard Wagner’s 1845 opera Tannhäuser enjoys a great big production by Melbourne Opera, directed by Suzanne Chaundy and staged in the Regent Theatre where it's very much at home.
