Melbourne Festival has announced that Brett Sheehy has been re-appointed as Artistic Director for the 2012 Festival, taking his tenure to a four Festival term.

Melbourne Theatre Company Artistic Director Simon Phillips yesterday announced MTC Season 2011, his last for the Company.

The 2010 Melbourne Fringe Festival program was launched in inner city Melbourne today by Minister Bronwyn Pike and Lord Mayor Robert Doyle.

Chairman of the Melbourne Theatre Company’s Board, Derek Young today announced that after more than 10 years at the helm of one of the most successful theatre companies in Australia, MTC Artistic Director and Chief Executive Simon Phillips would leave his roles with MTC at the conclusion of the 2011 Season.
