It was a cosy set up with a two seater couch on the small stage the MC, Bob Gordon in an armchair and just to the side a keyboard manned by Mark Ralph.

There is nothing I could write that would convey the unbridled enthusiasm of the Opening Night audience at Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.

Michael Griffiths held the audience in the palm of his hand from the very start of the show to the finale, which ran over time because the audience simply refused to let him go. Was he having a good time? You’d better believe it!

This was a wow of a show.
