
The discovery of a work that simply needs to be consumed and felt, rather than explained, is a magical moment. But in expressing this experience there comes a curious complication; there is so much and yet so little to say.





Presented by Night Train Productions as part of the Fremantle Festival, Orpheus and Eurydice is a beautiful and ethereal exploration of the iconic Greek myth that unfortunately lacks enough weight and gravitas to have any real emotional impact.

It was with some apprehension that I entered the auditorium along with all the other mostly female audience members who were already giggling merrily among themselves.
