Leading Australian theatre producer John Frost and London theatre impresario David Ian today announced that the ever popular musical GREASE will return to Australian stages later this year.
Frost said, “I’m constantly asked when I’ll be producing GREASE again – it’s possibly the most requested musical in the back catalogue of the Gordon Frost Organisation. When the TV series Glee celebrated the music of GREASE on one of their recent episodes, and Olivia Newton John and John Travolta reunited for a charity Christmas album in December, I knew the time was right to bring GREASE back to Australia.”
Auditions will commence shortly for this new multi-million dollar production, and tour details will be announced in coming months.
