Rob Doran appointed as Training Director at the Aboriginal Centre for The Performing Arts

ROB DORAN this week joined the staff of The Aboriginal Centre for the Performing Arts, in the newly created position of Training Director.
CEO Milos Miladinovic says” As the Board moves to refocus ACPA and strengthen the training outcomes for students in 2012, the appointment of Rob has given us exactly the right mix of training, compliance and artistic capabilities. Working together with the new full time positions of Head of Music, Dance and Acting he will ensure a steady hand on the tiller balancing excellence in training with excellence in performance”.
Rob comes to the position with a wealth of knowledge. He has an excellent working knowledge of training organisations, VET programs and a clear understanding of the Australian Quality Training Framework compliance.
He worked for 18 years with The Actors Workshop and more recently as Compliance Officer with the Australian Dance Performance Institute.
