After successful and dynamic sessions in Melbourne and Tasmania, ‘Your Shout’ is coming to Sydney, for one night only, at New Theatre in Newtown. ‘Your Shout’ is a free forum for artists, arts workers and arts supporters to express their views directly to Peter Garrett on issues they feel are important for the arts in Australia.
“In further developing a strong and vital Arts platform it’s important that we are aware of all the issues facing artists and arts workers at the grass roots level of arts practice,” said Garrett. “‘Your Shout’ is an effective method of hearing from a broad cross-section of arts practitioners about what is concerning them.”
