LPA Entertainment Australia announce the launch of a new online employment resource for the entertainment industry – Showjobs.net
The site officially launches Monday Sept 10 but has already been receiving up to 30,000 hits per week as anticipation for the service grows.
Showjobs.net aims to provide an affordable job advertising service for members of the Australian Entertainment Industry, and a simple and fast location for jobseekers to search for the jobs they want.
This site was created to fill a void in the Australian entertainment industry. “We wanted to add choice and simplicity for employers and jobseekers” said Trevor White, General Manager of the LPA Entertainment Group. “Showjobs.net hopes to fill this void by providing all members of the industry a central place to search and post employment in one of Australians fast and growing industries.”
The site provides a low-cost alternative for employers looking for staff, and for those looking for work the service is completely free. Job seekers are able to browse all listings at anytime, without requiring a membership fee or registration signup, and can use the search tools to find jobs in the particular industry or state they are interested in. Jobseekers can also sign up for the weekly Showjobs e-bulletin which will feature random jobs that have been added in the past 7 days.
