The tracksuits are on and vinyl warmed as DJ hopefuls enter the arena to spin there way to a massive $4,000 worth of silverware. So, you think you can mix?
Melbourne Fringe is proud to host this colossal battle for DJ supremacy taking place on Saturday 29 September at the Festival Club, North Melbourne Town Hall. With a $4,000 scholarship courtesy of SAE Institute plus a spot on the bill during the final night of the Festival up for grabs, the stakes and the tunes have never been so fierce.
Five finalists will “deck it out” to produce one winner and a night of amazing live performances by some of the oldest of old-school mixes for all punters.
The conditions of entry to the competition are simple:
• Be a DJ who can play a 30min live set using ONLY VINYL, moulding your stylistic ways to include the theme “Globe Trotting”
• Grab an Entry Form from www.melbournefringe.com.au
• Submit a 3 minute sample of your work on CD along with the entry form to:

Registrations are due by Friday 7 September and the five finalists will be announced the following Friday 14 September.
