The staff of the Adelaide Fringe is on the move to new offices in Hindley Street, shifting out of their Rundle Street home of seven years.
The now annual Adelaide Fringe organisation has outgrown the current Rundle Street office space, bringing about a move to 105 Hindley Street (Currently Happy House, adjacent to Arts SA).
The new location gives the organisation more than double the floor space of their current Rundle Street tenancy.
“We’re very excited to be moving into a space that will accommodate the growing number of Fringe staff,” said Fringe CEO Sandy Verschoor.
“The Fringe has continued to grow and now an annual event has more staff for more of the year. For the 2007 Fringe we had more than half our staff accommodated at the Balfours site through the goodwill of the Adelaide City Council. In the coming year due to development of the site, these offices are no longer available to us.”
“The Fringe will maintain our opening night event, box offices and various celebrations in the East End of the city, but we will now also have a presence in the West End which can only be a positive thing for the City of Adelaide,” she said.
The Fringe will commence their relocation to 105 Hindley Street, Adelaide on September 17, 2007. All other contact details will remain unchanged.
