Expressions of Interest to perform at the Festival Hub
Open 23 April and close 11 May

The Age 2007 Melbourne Fringe Festival is only four and a half months away. Winter may be fast approaching, but it's time to starting thinking spring!

Melbourne Fringe is calling for expressions of interest from artists wanting to perform at the Festival Hub in North Melbourne.

The Melbourne Fringe Festival Hub is the ultimate venue for any type of event - performance, circus, comedy, cabaret, music, movement and dance or visual art. A variety of spaces are available, from an intimate 35 seater to a 330 seat proscenium arch theatre.

Once again in 2006, the Festival Hub buzzed with 58 Melbourne Fringe events in venues including Arts House North Melbourne Town Hall, Lithuanian Club, The Raglan, Errol's and Czech House. Many nights saw several Hub shows sell-out, with box office queues out the door.

The Festival Hub offers artists subsidised venue rental, Box Office / Front of House management, a venue technician, production advice, targeted Hub publicity and marketing materials.

The Festival Hub is also home to the glamorous Festival Club, where Festival-goers and artists can catch their breath between shows, debate the latest Fringe prodigy, or dance under the glitterball, with free entry every night.

Be part of Melbourne Fringe - Melbourne's own unique independent arts occasion - whatever your artform, whatever your career stage, presenting whatever you want.
