2007 has seen several exciting staff changes and appointments for La Boite Theatre Company at the Roundhouse Theatre and QUT seems to be a common link.

Rosemary Walker, after 22 years, retired and has started up her own PR Company RAW Publicity. Tamsin Roseveare – who has been the Marketing Manager since 2004 is now also responsible for liaising with the media. The company welcomes Ross Balbuziente as the new part time Marketing Assistant. Ross graduated from QUT with a degree in Marketing & Advertising in 2004 and has worked for Harvest Rain Theatre Company for over a year in a very similar role.

Linn Clarkson who joined us in 2005, to assist with Corporate Development, now works for the Brisbane City Council and Yvonne Hayes (who was working as one of our Front of House Managers) joined the team in this part time position late last year. She holds a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) from QUT and has over twelve years experience, including research, strategy, training and development, and project management.

Veronica Pronger joined the company to assist with bookings, as all our ticketing will be processed in-house in 2007, and is also on our Front of House team having graduated from QUT in 2003 with a Bachelor of Creative Industries (Drama). We also welcome Kyle Morey as our new Venue Coordinator. Kyle’s main responsibility will be to welcome and service all our outside venue hire clients. Kyle is a graduate from QUT (2006) in Technical and Production Management.

Tyronne Curtis who is our latest edition to the Front of House team in what is going to be a busy year, is currently studying a Bachelor degree in Creative Industries and Business at QUT. Both Shari Irwin (Venue Manager) and Phil Petch (Ticketing and Administration Coordinator) also graduated from QUT with qualifications in the arts and business and casual Front of House Staff member Ayreen Irwin is another former QUT student.
