Just Romeo and Juliet!

Coming to The Seed this October is Just Romeo and Juliet! Written by Andy Griffiths, adapted by Bell Shakespeare’s Head of Education Joanna Erskine and performed by our national touring education ensemble The Players, this is the perfect activity to entertain the whole family.

When Andy unwittingly auditions for a school production of Romeo and Juliet, he gets more than he bargained for. In his efforts to impress Lisa, he lands a minor role in the play. The only problem is, Andy’s best friend Danny has won the role of Romeo, opposite Lisa as Juliet. Andy does all he can to derail the rehearsal and Shakespeare’s classic love story with hilarious results.

Featuring Shakespeare’s original language and Andy Griffith’s beloved characters, complete with an hour of post-performance activities, this rollicking tale of epic proportions is perfect for the young (and young at heart).
