
Lippy, as an adjective is an apt description for the work. The performers are bolshie. They’re not afraid to ridicule and are unapologetic.

I knew I was in safe hands right away and decided to “let it go”, sit back and enjoy Richard Cottrell’s wonderful staging of Arms and the Man at the Opera house. I wasn’t disappointed.

I’m not quite sure of the specifics of this particular tale of good vs. evil, but I do know that I couldn’t take my eyes off it.

McArdle’s language is clean and direct when it needs to move the plot forward, but he also takes the liberty of using a more lyrical tone through some of the more dream-like sequences.

Yirra Yaakin has produced a gorgeous world premiere by first-time playwright Jub Clerc. Her debut play is The Fever and the Fret and it is a beautiful ode to loss, love and memory.

The Australian Ballet’s The Sleeping Beauty is quite possibly the most perfect ballet I have ever witnessed. It is flawless.
