
The Girlie Show, set in the lead-up to Madonna’s 1993 world tour of the same name, is an absolute gem.

By his own admission, Frank Woodley’s emotional age is 11 – which immediately puts him in good stead to write and perform a show for children.

The only unsurprising aspects of the show were the roars of appreciation and the standing ovation.

Beyond Priscilla is an unusual and audacious proposition for a play, based on a real undertaking that was unusual and audacious itself.
