Kiki House of Furia Presents - The Fantasy Ball

Midsumma’s first official ball arrives—Naarm is burning, Ballroom commands!

From Harlem to Naarm, Oceania’s houses light up the floor, battling across electrifying categories for the Grand Prize on this historic night of Ballroom culture.

The Fantasy Ball at State Library Victoria brings Ballroom and voguing culture into the grand surrounds of Queen’s Hall, hosted by Founding Mother Angel Furia and the House of Furia.

Featuring multiple categories, judges, DJs and performances – this night celebrates the artistry and community of Melbourne’s Ballroom scene: a space that champions expression, resilience and self-love.

Come dressed to impress, cheer on your favourites and witness the Library transform into a runway of joy, rhythm, and QTBIPOC excellence.

To make it in this world; you must live your fantasy!

Capturing the essence of its predecessor, Heathers The Musical is an absurdly comic production that doesn’t just walk the line of polite society but plans to blow it all up with reckless abandon.

This Glass Menagerie is top shelf, and while blessed with an extraordinary cast and the highest of production values, it will not meet with everyone’s measure of how this play should be staged.
