Marrow

beautiful and visually arresting” – InDaily
riveting and memorable” – Dance Australia

Marrow is a bold response to a nation searching for a new direction. Set on shared ground where politics and identity are threads in a larger tapestry, this striking work from Australian Dance Theatre (ADT) brings their extraordinary ensemble to life through layers of smoke and light.

Created by Daniel Riley in collaboration with ADT’s Company Artists, senior Kaurna/Ngarrindjeri Elder Uncle Moogy Sumner AM and composer James Howard (SAVAGE), Marrow confronts the falsehoods in our shared history, unearthing hidden truths about our past.

Honest and powerful, it cuts through the haze of our national conscience to envision a new future.
