Box Machine! at Abbotsford Convent for Summer 2025

BOX MACHINE!  is a fantastic new large-scale and interactive exhibition for children and their adults, designed and delivered by Mischa Long and Ross Koger.

Giant heavy-duty cardboard machines, rollers, pipes, cogs and taps line the Magdalen Laundry ready for children to connect and deconstruct like giant building blocks. In this way, redundant laundry and machines that haunt the remnants of the original space are re-endowed as giant playthings for children’s huge imaginary re-constructions.
