★★★★★ “This stunning orchestra … in a word: matchless!” Limelight Magazine

Following last year’s exhilarating UK and Australian performances led by Maestro Zubin Mehta AC, the Australian World Orchestra will come together this November for an unmissable performance in Sydney. This unique and brilliant orchestra led by Internationally acclaimed AWO Chief Conductor and Artistic Director Alexander Briger AO will perform Gustav Mahler’s breathtaking Symphony No 9 at the Sydney Opera House.

An incomparable musical accomplishment, Mahler 9 is one of the most enthralling, emotional and sublime experiences you’ll ever have at the symphony.

Join us for a gala evening with an extraordinary array of Australian musicians, drawn from the Berlin and Hong Kong Philharmonics, the Chicago, London, New Zealand and Australian national symphony orchestras and ensembles, as they combine under the unassailable banner of the Australian World Orchestra to present an unforgettable “orchestral Rolls Royce” concert experience.
