Opera in the Pub at The Harold - "Opera Goes to the Movies" MATINEE SHOW
 

Opera . . . in a pub?  You heard right!  Due to overwhelming demand, we've added a relaxed Sunday arvo in the pub - Opera Bites style!

Opera Bites has partnered with The Harold in Glebe to bring you the world’s favourite opera highlights in the relaxed environs of a great local pub. 

​Tickets include a 90-minute, fully costumed show, upstairs at The Harold.  Show starts 2.00pm. 

Fabulous food and drinks available for separate purchase at the venue.  All day kitchen open for pre-, mid- or post-show dining.

Your favourite films and opera’s greatest hits - what could make for a better combination? From The Ride of the Valkyries in Apocalypse Now to the Pearl Fishers Duet in Gallipoli or the Barcarolle in Life is Beautiful, opera's heightened emotions and divine tunes have provided the soundtrack to some of film's most dramatic moments. Join Opera Bites in the comfort of your local pub as we explore some of opera's most sublime music as seen on the big screen.​​

Early bookings are highly recommended as previous events have completely sold out.
