Opera in the Pub at The Harold - "Opera Goes to the Movies"
 

Opera . . . in a pub?  You heard right!  Following numerous sell-out events, Opera Bites’ winning formula is back, and we couldn’t be more excited.    

Opera Bites has partnered with The Harold in Glebe to bring you the world’s favourite opera highlights in the relaxed environs of a great local pub.  This historic pub was actually our first ever Opera in the Pub venue, way back in 2010!  It’s now under new management, freshly refurbished and better than ever.

​Tickets include a 90-minute, fully costumed show, upstairs at The Harold.  Show starts 7.30pm. 

Fabulous food and drinks available for separate purchase at the venue.  HAPPY HOUR from 5-7pm.  All day kitchen open till 10pm for pre-, mid- or post-show dining.

Your favourite films and opera’s greatest hits - what could make for a better night out? From The Ride of the Valkyries in Apocalypse Now to the Pearl Fishers Duet in Gallipoli or the Barcarolle in Life is Beautiful, opera's heightened emotions and divine tunes have provided the soundtrack to some of film's most dramatic moments. Join Opera Bites in the comfort of your local pub as we explore some of opera's most sublime music as seen on the big screen.​​

Early bookings are highly recommended as previous events have completely sold out.
