In June, The Wolves was named by the New York Times as one of the top 25 American plays of the last 25 years, and after a sell-out season at the Old Fitz in 2017, this energetic show will find a new arena on the famous Belvoir stage this February - offering audiences the opportunity to catch this unmissable production.

The Wolves are a teenage girls indoor soccer team – they’re close, they're passionate about the big things and the little things, and they look out for each other.  In an age where people are being driven to increased isolation, these young women find strength and meaning in each other, in being a team. As long as they play together, the violence, distrust and confusion off the field can be resisted. But this is just the warm up - the whistle is about to blow on the real game. 

A beautiful, sophisticated play from New York, The Wolves follows the lives of nine young women over a season. The Wolves exposes their anxieties, shares their secrets and watches them explore their petty squabbles and deeper divisions. Life isn’t a game – but when each player realises she’s part of a team, she's never truly alone.
