What's On

After Miss Julie by Patrick Marber

WWII is over. Churchill has been ousted. Over a kitchen table, a battle of wits, class and sex rages on. Who will be the winner? Is there one?

Experience this famous battle-of-the-sexes play in the historic sandstone surrounds of the heritage listed venue, The Cottage. The perfect setting for this modern adaptation of the Albert Strindberg 1888 classic masterpiece.

This production, directed by Sean O'Riordan (The Wasp: Australian premiere Sydney Fringe, Troilus and Cressida: The Depot Theatre, Apples and Pears: Old 505 Theatre, Tidy Town of the Year: Old Fitz Theatre). SPea Productions are proud to present After Miss Julie, an Amateur Production BY ARRANGEMENT WITH ORiGiN? THEATRICAL, ON BEHALF OF SAMUEL FRENCH, LTD.

**** The Guardian
"Patrick Marber not only sharpens the social context but restores the original's tragic impact."

**** The Financial Times
"A potent exploration of a frenzied night."

**** The Telegraph
"A kitchen-sink drama with an erotic difference, a blast from the past that feels like a play for today."
