The English Gents were announced as winners of the People’s Choice Award for Adelaide’s favourite act at the Adelaide International Buskers Festival.
When presenting the English Gents with a cheque for $1000 Deputy Lord Mayor Susan Clearihan said, ‘now in its third year the Adelaide International Buskers Festival just keeps getting better and better, long may it continue.’
The English Gents are actually from Australia!
Hamish McCann and Denis Lock spent the last three days performing inconceivable feats of acrobatic skill, strength and balance, whilst casually sipping tea and reading the newspaper.
The Adelaide International Buskers Festival is an Adelaide City Council and Adelaide Fringe event.
