Today Peter Cousens, the Artistic Director of Kookaburra: The National Musical Theatre Company, announced that FLOYD COLLINS - A New Musical, due to commence on November 6 and run until December 2 at the Sydney Theatre, Walsh Bay, would be cancelled.
The cancellation is a financially pragmatic decision based on ticket sales not reaching expectations. All ticket holders should contact the point of purchase in order to gain a full refund.
“We apologise for causing any inconvenience to our valued patrons” said Mr Cousens. “This is a strategic decision that will only serve to strengthen the long term future of Kookaburra and we look forward to a successful season in 2008”.
Subscriptions to the Kookaburra 2008 season will go on sale in November.
