Adelaide Fringe’s target of 100,000 tickets sold was smashed at the halfway mark and final FringeTIX ticket sales reached 130,648 – excluding door sales. Audience response for the first annual Adelaide Fringe has been phenomenal and has surpassed all expectations.
Chair of the Adelaide Fringe Judy Potter says, “The first annual Adelaide Fringe has been a success! Adelaide has enjoyed and benefited from this iconic event going annual. Thank you to everyone who has supported, participated, and/or been part of Adelaide Fringe 2007. The tremendous response will ensure the Board and staff proceed with confidence, building on the success of this the first annual fringe.”

The 2007 Adelaide Fringe Awards was a hit as the best of the Fringe were honoured for excellence in their genre with a special Adelaide Fringe 2007 Flying Pig Award.
