Adelaide Fringe Inc organisers are overwhelmed by the audience response to the first annual Fringe with over 100,000 tickets now sold for Adelaide Fringe 2007.
At the half way mark, current ticket sales have exceeded projections and expectations with audiences ‘pigging out’ on the vast range of events on offer. Many Fringe artists are enjoying a bumper season and with almost two weeks remaining…audiences can continue to gorge on more shows and events coming in to Adelaide.
In addition to hundreds of different shows in all genres up for grabs, this week also features the inaugural WORD literary program, family fun at Gala4KIDS and the hottest new talent at FreshBAIT!
Chair of the Adelaide Fringe Judy Potter says, “The support shown to date for the first annual Adelaide Fringe is fantastic, and on behalf of the Fringe Crew – a big thank you! With eleven nights remaining, we are anticipating a final fringe frenzy.”
