Anna Rushmer's latest creation is an emotional and introspective examination into agency and stagnation, the cost of action against the cost of inaction, and explores how our harshest critic is often ourselves. A modern reimagining of watery folk tales including The Little Mermaid and Undine, Rushmer’s work delves into a psychological world of ethereal dance, music and shadow projections.

While Bonachela’s work is, as always, dreamily lovely, for me the highlights were absolutely the three commissioned choreographers: Azzam Mohamed, Jenni Large and Raghav Handa.
This rollicking musical take on Jane Austen’s beloved novel is a side-splitting crowd pleaser.
