
While the two choreographers approach the topic from differing angles and employ different movement vocabularies, there is a pleasing symmetry to the double bill and a definite sense of thematic unity.

The La Mama stage is transformed to wonderful effect, with pine needles spread on the ground, covering important objects that will later be seen, and ladders creeping towards the sky.
