While driven by some commendably staggering performances from Iaheto Ah Hi and Taokia Pelesasa, it’s actually an incredibly shallow, unfocused work.

The energy levels throughout Ada & Elsie: Wacko-the-Diddle-oh! are relentless and anyone of a certain age will find the show appealing.

Go and see this play. I laughed. I cried. And I will definitely be going to see it again. Wonderful, wonderful theatre.

There are moments in An Iliad that will make you shed a tear for humankind. There are moments of deadly seriousness, and there are moments of clever, dark humor.

I feel like there was the kernel of something brilliant in here, but that the show lost touch with what that was.
