Lucy Best: Unbelievable!

Most people have an unbelievable, fantastical story from their life – the kind that makes others question if that really, truly, happened. Thanks to an unconventional life, Lucy Best has collected more than most.In her latest intimate one-woman storytelling show, Lucy unpacks a treasure trove of real-life tales that are often hard to believe.
Do you know anyone else who 'rescues' hankies?
Or was expelled from boarding school?
Did you know bisexuals are actually real?
Lucy will share deeply personal true stories about these things and more.Life is messy and unpredictable, and despite the uniqueness of the stories they are wonderfully relatable, because it's not what happened that connects us, it's how it made us feel.

Expect clowning, impressions and plenty of laughs.

“...daring, outspoken and truly individual. With unrepentant wit and candour, Best darts between wry humour, sage political commentary and the vulnerability of a woman who is perpetually disbelieved (even by herself)." - Olivia Hendry, Fringe World Reviewer

... Best’s delivery is surprisingly clean... consistently funny... Best’s on-stage persona being especially warm and affable... slick delivery" - Jim Schembri
