We May Never Meet Again - Amy Winehouse

WE MAY NEVER MEET AGAIN: THE MUSIC OF AMY WINEHOUSE, featuring the soul-drenched voice of Elly Poletti backed by an electrifying lineup of horns and rhythm section.

WE MAY NEVER MEET AGAIN pays tribute to Amy Winehouse's lifelong love of jazz, transporting her music from the radio to the the smoky clubs where her idols used to play. Hear Winehouse’s most powerful songs in a new light with unique arrangements by musical director Joe McEvilly which “explore, reimagine, and create a different nuance to Amy Winehouse's songs… incredibly well” (Canberra Times)

Featuring songs including: Back to Black, Valerie, What Is It About Men, You Know I’m No Good, Tears Dry On Their Own, In My Bed, Rehab and many more.

Elly Poletti is a multiple Award winning vocalist and performer hailing from South Gippsland, Victoria. Known for her powerhouse vocals which she matches with sensitivity and nuance, she has performed at venues from Hisense Arena to Wangaratta Jazz Festival, supported artists including Clare Bowditch and Kate Ceberano, and won awards for her appearances on the musical theatre stage.

Joe McEvilly is a Melbourne multi-instrumentalist and composer. From piano bars to the Melbourne International Jazz Festival, he has shared the stage with some of Australia’s best-loved performers and is the creative force behind many shows including We May Never Meet Again, All I Ask, Wings (**** – The Australian), and Candlelight Jazz: Aretha Franklin.
