Fijian Flying Circus presented by Fiji Airways - Melbourne

Welcome to the journey of the Fijian Flying Circus - Melbourne Showgrounds from 17th of October till the 22nd of November before we head over to Sydney. This is a bold, breathtaking and human experience, Fijian Flying Circus is a world-first fusion of Fijian storytelling and contemporary circus. Follow Loma, a curious young girl who stumbles into a mystical world where veli (forest spirits), giants, and elemental forces live in harmony with Fiji’s lush flora and fauna. When a cheeky veli steals one of her enchanted shoes, Loma embarks on a thrilling journey to retrieve it, guided by her mischievous sidekick Tui.

A vibrant mix of jaw-dropping stunts, cheeky humour, and deep Fijian warmth, expect to laugh, gasp, and maybe even tear up as these incredible humans remind us that we’re all part of one big, flying family.

VOU Dance Fiji is a social enterprise, a living breathing movement with a big dream to provide Fijian youth with a platform to show and share their stories through movement, dance, circus and song in Fiji and globally - creating sustainable full-time career pathways. VOU awards 20 scholarships annually, giving Fijian youth from all around Fiji a chance at an accredited tertiary education at the Conservatorium of Dance school to get a diploma. This initiative is funded by the tickets sales to VOU shows in Fiji and internationally. While we help you escape your world for a moment in a theatre or under our BIG TOP tent, you help sustain ours.
