Mamma Mia! The Musical
 

The smash hit MAMMA MIA! The Musical has firmly established itself in the global musical theatre repertoire as a contemporary classic - now seen by over 65 million people! This February, Melbourne’s new independent theatre company, AG Theatre is bringing this smash hit euphoric phenomenon to The National Theatre in St Kilda from February 7th for a limited season. 

Set on a vibrant Greek island, MAMMA MIA! The Musical tells the heartwarming story of 20-year-old Sophie's quest to discover her father's identity. Ahead of her wedding, she secretly invites three men from her mother Donna’s past. The resulting chaos, sparked by Donna's surprise and complicated by rekindled romances and frantic preparations, unfolds to a soundtrack of iconic ABBA hits - ultimately leading to a joyous celebration of friendship, love, and family.

Performances run from Wednesday to Sunday from February 7, 2026 until March 8th, 2026 at 7.30pm, with matinee shows at 1.30pm on Saturdays and Sundays from 14 February.
