What's On

HOSPO

HOSPO is the explosive debut play that everyone in the industry will feel in their bones.

Thrown back to 2020, Tierra’s bistro has barely survived lockdown, but with restrictions finally lifted, she’s reopening her doors for a night of dining, dancing, and rock ’n’ roll. What should be a triumphant return quickly spirals when the understaffed team discover their event has been double-booked with a private function. Personalities clash, tensions simmer, and secrets bubble to the surface.
Bottlenecked into a single Saturday shift, this fast-paced, laugh-out-loud tragicomedy shatters the cold pour to reveal the heat underneath — exposing grief, power games, and the wild, messy relationships building with every ding of the service bell — but will the night hold together, or collapse under the weight of a mismanaged roster?

Whether you worked the shift from hell, can't afford to eat out, or always chill at your local - be our patron as you're swept into the world of HOSPO. Complete with a live band and a cast of unforgettably relatable characters, HOSPO is a love letter to all the people who keep the wheels turning — and the ones who grind the gears.

Fiercely original. Raw, ridiculous, and real.
This is Sydney indie theatre at its freshest.
It’s not just about hospitality — it’s about holding it together when you’re falling apart.
Join us for a night that hits close to home.

There’s a palpable playfulness to these performances, disciplined, drilled and delightful. There’s fire, bite and fun and lots of kissing.
