WA Youth Theatre Company Presents: Made in Boorloo

WAYTCo partners with The Blue Room Theatre to elevate its playwriting opportunities for West Australian youth

Made in Boorloo is an annual WA Youth Theatre Company (WAYTCo) program for young and emerging playwrights that will see the development and presentation of two new plays. Fresh off the high-octane production line of WAYTCO’s wildly popular 24Hr Play Generator, two playwrights have developed their writing from time-crunched 10-minute plays to marinated one-act-length works. What a difference a few more days makes!

The Made in Boorloo double header features:

Strongest Patient by Adam Snyman directed by Zac James 4 men in a hospital compete to see who's the manliest of them all to win the ultimate prize of a new nose.

Red Thread by Sophia Bell directed by Amelia Burke When a mysterious file appears on their doorstep, Audrey and Sora decide to follow the clues in hope of their grand prize. But things are not as they seem, and the deeper they journey, the stranger and more absurd this whirlwind adventure becomes.
