The Ghana Road Show

Experience the energy of West Africa. The Ghana Road Show is a dynamic fusion of circus, music, and dance. Featuring Ghanaian acrobats, Afro-Australian musicians, a fierce DJ, and Lucky Lartey’s dance. Bold, rhythmic, vibrant, unmissable.

The Ghana Road Show is a vibrant, high-energy performance that celebrates the richness and diversity of West African culture through a dynamic blend of circus arts, music, and dance. This immersive show invites audiences on a sensory journey across Ghana and beyond, capturing the pulse of African tradition with a contemporary twist.

Led by an ensemble of CaLD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) artists, GRS is a collaborative creation driven by the creativity and vision of Ghanaian circus performers, African/Australian musicians, a trailblazing female DJ, and renowned Senegalese drummer and dancer Lucky Lartey. Their synergy generates a unique and electrifying atmosphere, where tradition meets innovation on stage.

What sets GRS apart is its powerful integration of striking projected visuals and interactive audience engagement. The performance space is transformed into a living canvas where visuals, sound, and movement converge, pulling the audience into the heart of the performance. Through moments of participation and connection, spectators become part of the celebration, not just observers.

West African rhythms, soulful melodies, and traditional dance styles are brought to life with raw energy and contemporary flair. The show moves seamlessly from heart-pounding drum sequences to acrobatic feats and joyous dance numbers, creating a deeply uplifting and inclusive experience. GRS highlights the artistic excellence of African artists while fostering a space for cultural exchange and community.

More than just a performance, Ghana Road Show is a celebration of identity, resilience, and creative collaboration. It invites audiences of all backgrounds to experience the joy and depth of African culture—through movement, music, and shared rhythm. Whether young or old, first-time viewers or seasoned performance lovers, everyone is welcome in the world of The Ghana Road Show.
