Il Mago di Oz (Pierangelo Valtinoni)

Launched from the pages of L. Frank Baum’s classic The Wizard of Oz, Dorothy Gale’s journey down the Yellow Brick Road has captured the hearts of children and adults alike since first published in 1900. Her encounters with the Scarecrow, Tinman, Cowardly Lion, and Witches, good and bad, are legendary.

Following many inspired adaptations comes Italian composer Pierangelo Valtinoni’s reimagining of this beloved story.

Discover the quirky childlike wonder in this colourful Italian opera.
