Eddie Perfect - Introspective

Eddie Perfect is one of Australia's most respected writers, composers, and performers and former Artistic Director of Adelaide Cabaret Festival. After two years in New York writing Broadway musicals Beetlejuice and King Kong, Eddie and his family have repatriated to Australia to see out the pandemic on home-soil.

Eddie marks his return to the stage with a stripped-back, intimate and honest reflection on his recent life and work.

Though many of these songs have never been heard or recorded, every one of them has a story. Hear about life in Manhattan and enjoy the songs that took him from Brunswick to New York and back again.

This is Eddie at his most candid: back on stage and at the piano, accompanied by violin and cello. Introspective is a rare glimpse into what it takes to write songs in a high-stakes environment, during a period of historic unrest.

Presented by Adelaide Festival Centre.
