After the cracking debut of comedytorrent.tv, in which More Talent brought a series of livestreamed comedy club shows to the masses via our partners at Twitch, the torrent tonic the world needs in 2020 is expanding, with the introduction of IMPROVtorrent.tv under the “torrent.tv” banner! A lively and illustrious entertainment tradition, improv comedy has long been a staple in the comedy & TV world, birthing the careers of the likes of Mikey Robins, Rebel Wilson and Wayne Brady and spawning blockbuster TV shows running for multiple seasons worldwide. The Australian-based IMPROVtorrent.tv is thrilled to be streaming this unpredictable form of madcap comedic entertainment to the digital world for the very first time with our own unique new spin on the traditional format. With a run of tight but completely unscripted shows from Sydney’s finest rising improv comedians Kate Coates, Jeeves Verma, Jake Howie, Concetta Caristo, William Erimya and Bec Melrose and a celebrity guest star every night, IMPROVtorrent.tv will allow audience members both in the live comedy club setting and watching online, to be able to interact in the traditional Improv style – together, in real time, providing suggestions, tips, topics and feedback both physically and digitally. Our exciting and accomplished cast of improv ‘players’ are active performers on the Improv circuit and with training in the many and varied games and forms of the style, their backgrounds extend to schools both here in Australia and in the USA. You can get more info on our cast at links below.
