Comfort Food Cabaret

Comfort Food Cabaret makes its Brisbane debut

She sings, she cooks and now Australia's singing cook is coming to Brisbane. For one night only at Jo-Jo's Restaurant, South Brisbane, guests will be dined and entertained in unrivalled, intimate, cabaret style.

Direct from acclaimed performances at Copenhagen’s three Michelin star restaurant Geranium, Australia House in London, the Edinburgh Fringe, Tasting Australia, Adelaide Fringe and the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, diners will be delighted by Michelle's warm hospitality, hilarious storytelling, indulgent cooking and stunning vocals in this one of a kind musical-foodie ‘dinner and show’ experience.

Diners will be serenaded by the soulful songstress as she creates a delicious three course menu celebrating comfort food accompanied by the perfect playlist of jazz, rock and pop tunes.

Comfort Food Cabaret took out South Australia’s highest accolade for cabaret at the Adelaide Theatre Guide Awards in 2017 and won Best Cabaret at this year’s Adelaide Fringe.

"Michelle invites you into her scrumptious world and you don't want the night to end" (Broadway World)

"Pearson gives Nigella Lawson a run for her money, sensual and pitch perfect, with a belt to envy." (Stage Whispers)

"This is one dinner party invitation you shouldn't turn down." Simon Wilkinson, (The Advertiser)

All profits from the special musical food event will go to Australian children’s charity, Little Lives that fundraise for children’s health locally and abroad, providing health equipment and vital services for children with medical needs.

Tickets are $97.80 and can be purchased via Interactive Theatre International.
