Caledonian Castaways

In Perth for 1 week only.

Caledonian Castaways are a group of ex-pat Scots drawn from Melbourne’s blues/roots scene. Their original material covers amusing and heartwarming stories about their various journeys from Scotland to Australia. All set to ska, rocksteady, funk, blues, country grooves - the styles they know so well. Beautiful original songs from Steve Boyd and Alex Burns. Tommy McEwan on drums, Melbourne Ska Orchestra singer Steve Montgomery fronting the group. Steel guitar, accordion, trumpet and harmonica. Is this a new genre………… Hoots Roots!
