Would you – could you – have you - ever had an affair? Barney Cashman is a married, successful New York fish restaurateur and father of three who is going through a mid-life crisis. Desperate to ensure the sum of his life is morethan just “nice”, he determines to have a romantic affair...he just doesn’tknow how to do it, or who to do it with. Over the course of one year he tries with three very different women with various degrees of success. Maybe the problem is the location – his mother’s small downtown apartment - or is what he is looking for unrealistic and unattainable?
