Super Science Saturday

Super Science Saturday (11 August) will be an extraordinary day out for the entire family when the Australian Museum opens its doors and brings science to life for everyone!

There is so much to discover at the interactive Science Expo with over 20 booths delivering experiments, hands on demonstrations and more.

Watch explosive scientific action at the ‘Street Science’ Show. Find out what’s rumbling beneath the earth’s crust with ‘Volcanoes, eruptions and more’. Learn more about the relationship between science and culture with ‘Aboriginal Bush Food and Medicine’. Uncover what it takes to find the stories in science from a range of science journalists.

With live animal shows, face-painting, roaming scientists and more, you’ll discover just how mind-blowing science is!

Come along and see how science can be found in the most unexpected places.
