Let's Get Practical! Live

The Very Good Looking Initiative (TVGLI) proudly presents

As a part of the 2018 Melbourne International Comedy Festival

Let's Get Practical! Live
Created and performed by Elliott Gee, Honor Wolff and Patrick Durnan Silva

Live from The Tower at the Coopers Malthouse - it's Australia's most popular talk show!
Hosted by Mister Practical himself, Elliott Gee, enjoy non-stop stop stop entertainment and the biggest names around in this late night viewing favourite. A fast-paced, high energy, anxiety-inducing show, Let's Get Practical! Live will have you wanting to get down and dance, or get up and leave.

Quick Question: How do you respond to your Aunty/Barista/Neighbour when they're constantly asking “How’s the show going?” when you don’t know what the show is yet and you have no show but you have to sell tickets to the show and convince people that they’ll like the show but you hate the show and you’re stuck trying make the show because you actually have no show but tech is next Tuesday and you spent $500 on your poster image which you had to work four double shifts to cover which were meant to be rehearsal days but you couldn’t take them off because you have to pay for the production of the show but you have NO SHOW?

Performed live for the first time ever, theirs no room for mistakes! Imagine if the whole thing failed? Could you imagine? Hahahah!

Back by popular demand, Let's Get Practical! Live at the 2018 Melbourne International Comedy Festival heralds the triumphant return of the award-winning trolls of the Melbourne theatre scene. Creating experimental and subversive dark comedy anti-theatre, this latest season by TVGLI serves up MICF audiences some of Melbourne's very own outstanding local talent. It's new, it's shiny, it's excruciatingly wonderful.
