Unsuitable presented by Tumble CIrcus

Belfast’s award-winning Tumble Circus bounds into Adelaide with the debut of their new show, Unsuitable, as part of the Adelaide Fringe Festival 7-18 March at The Empire Theatre.

A self-proclaimed “circus of the absurd”, founding members Ken Fanning and Tina Segner  lead a contemporary circus troupe of highly skilled acrobats, aerialists, jugglers and clowns as they perform astonishing physical feats of strength and agility combined with theatre, comedy and mischief. The cast of five internationally renowned circus artists hail from Ireland, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland and Perth WA and are based in Belfast.

A very non-traditional Irish circus, Unsuitable is also a satirical show imbued with social and political narratives.  “This is the show we have been wanting to make for the last 20 years,” says Fanning of Unsuitable. “We’ve made a show for all audiences that combines acrobatic, aerial and circus elements with slapstick comedy and political commentary.”

Don’t miss Ireland’s most innovative and contemporary circus troupe, touring with the support of Culture Ireland.
